Pain Management Nursing Certification

Pain Management Certification Examination Information 
Pain Management Exam is offered year-round via computer based testing at a time and location convenient to you. Testing centers are located in hundreds of cities across the U.S., as well as many international cities.

The Pain Management certification exam is a partnership venture between the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Society for Pain Management Nursing® (ASPMN®). ASPMN® members receive a discount rate for the pain management certification exam. Successful certificants will earn the credential RN-BC (Board Certified).

Online Practice Exam

Are you ready for your upcoming Pain Management Certification Exam?  Let us help!  Introducing ASPMN®’s Online Practice Exam – an online tool to help you study and determine your strengths and weaknesses. Whether your test is in a few weeks or you are just starting to study, the practice exam can help you soothe those test-taking fears!

You can utilize the study mode at your leisure and get feedback on correct and incorrect answers. Then when you are ready, start the test mode – you are allotted four hours (just like the real test!) and will be scored at the end of the session. You can take a break in your testing after two hours and then you can resume to complete the exam. Once completed, you will receive your final score and if you pass with at least an 80%, you will be eligible for the continuing education certificate for 3.6 hours of CNE.

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering has been approved for 3.6 contact hours applicable for RN, LPN, LMHT relicensure and pharmacology hours for APN relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing provider number LT0279-0412.
